Books list
Here's what I've read this year.  I think watching TV and playing video games has taken up a large part of my reading time, which explains the lower production, but I should still hit 50.

January (7):
The Blind Side by Michael Lewis
Digital Fortress by Dan Brown
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling
Practical Demon Keeping by Christopher Moore
Harry Potter and the Half -Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

February (5):
Coyote Blue by Christopher Moore
The Comfort of Strangers by Ian McEwan
Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson
The Wintersmith by Terry Pratchet
Green Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson

March (3):
Blue Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson
Darwin Awards Four by Wendy Northcutt
America's Best Non-required Reading of 2006 edited by David Eggers

Well, shoot, I only read 3?  I need to get cracking on reading more.  15 for the year so far...

January
1. Saturday - Ian McEwan
February
2. Down Under - Bill Bryson
3. East of Eden - John Steinbeck
March
4. Fluke - Christopher Moore
5. Dave Barry Hits Below the Beltway
6. A Confederacy of Dunces - John Kennedy Toole
April
7. The Fifth Elephant - Terry Pratchett

And I finished The Fifth Elephant on the morning of April 1, so I almost read more books than you in March - now that is a sad sign for you. I'm shooting for 25 books this year. That's what I was going for last year, but I think I only made 23. I don't read much.

Looks like February was my slow month. I guess I'm on pace for fifty; I know this summer will be insane with the books, as I'll be spending most of it down the shore. I tried to read a Carl Hiaason (sp?) book last month, but stopped after seventy pages or so because I hated it so much. Isn't he one of your go-to authors?

I forgot to throw Romeo & Juliet in there, too. So, really, I'm at seventeen?

He was, although I think I'm out of books by him. Why didn't you like him?

LJ commenting is being annoying.

Anyway, the basic gist: I didn't like the characters or the way they interacted, and I also didn't like the storyline. I was bored and had to constantly work to keep myself focused on reading rather than letting my mind wander.

The book, by the way, was Strip Tease.
